Livermore Skatepark Opens with a BANG!    Check out the photos of the day here.  Special thanks to the Livermore Area Parks and Recreation District for getting this done for a majority of recreational population... Skateboarders!

Thanks to Skate and Ride and Think Skateboard Products the opening day was a blast!  Think brought out free gourmet Hot Dogs from Aidells for the kids and crowd.  Skate and Ride brought the music.  The public showed up in masses.  It's obvious that every city needs as many skateparks as it has softball fields!  Many thanks to Don Fisher of Think for sponsoring the goodies for the event and also for flowing me his wheels (mine had a flat spot).  

Livermore to Consider Survey Of Youth Needs

Berkeley Skatepark Announcement!  Sadly, this site has been a victim of Groundwater contamination and the park is delayed up to one year from December 2000.  See the Oakland Tribune article
