If your city doesn't do their homework before designing and constructing your hometown skatepark, they will eat your skateboard for lunch! In other words, help them to understand the importance of building a skatepark. It is not just a curved sidewalk. It takes specialized talented folks to build a skatepark right.
Rated a Dud by decent skaters everywhere. It's fun if you don't care about design or transition quality. This place could be so awesome but due to the poor design and construction, it is a complete let down. The good part about it is that it has grass, drinking fountains, benches and is lighted till 10:30pm. The environment and placement of this park is ideal. The cement and transitions here are dangerous! They could at least add on to it with a well designed park and well built transitions.
Designed for a good cause!

Pleasanton built their skatepark in 1995. They are hoping to expand and update
the park in the near future. They are pleased with the park and have had no
problems. It is built next to a softball park and is not noisy in comparison to
the ball park. Many parents on the teams bring their children to skateboard
while they play ball. unsupervised park
